Private midwifery care provides one-on-one, continuity-based support throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey, with all care by myself - Holly, an endorsed midwife. I provide 1:1 care from your very first appointment right through to 6-8 weeks post birth, supporting your transition into parenthood and with a focus on care tailored to you, building a relationship based on trust, safety, and connection.
-
Yes. As an endorsed private practice midwife (EPPM), I offer a comprehensive homebirth package designed to support you holistically and respectfully as you welcome your baby in the comfort of your own space.

I currently offer homebirths across the Perth metro area and into the Wheatbelt. If you're unsure whether your location is covered, please reach out — I’m always happy to organise a chat!
-
For healthy mums and babies, homebirth is a safe and evidence-based option. I work closely with you to ensure a homebirth is right for your circumstances. If any concerns arise during your pregnancy or labour, there are clear pathways for hospital transfer and collaboration with local maternity services.
-
No, I also support those planning to give birth in a hospital. This is required for mums who are pregnant with twins or planning a breech vaginal breech, but is also an option for mums who would like a hospital environment.
-
Yes, I have admitting rights to KEMH (King Edward Memorial Hospital) and FSH (Fiona Stanley Hospital), including the FSH birth centre. This means I am your admitting care practitioner when you are in the birth suite, and can liaise with the hospital team if required. This does typically mean you are admitted as a private patient, which comes with a charge of approximately $700, although your Medicare rebate is bigger in this case, so it does tend to balance out.
-
I also have a package for that! See my ‘Bump & Baby Package’ for details. I also have a postnatal-only package (see the ‘Help, I’ve Had a Baby’ pack) to provide home-based visits for the first 6 weeks to help with the transition of introducing a newborn (or two) into your family.
-
Absolutely. I can refer you for routine blood tests, ultrasounds, and collaborate with hospital providers as needed. You get the best of both worlds — personalised care with access to medical support when required. You also have the option of deciding which tests you may like, to ensure you have the personalised experience you are looking for.
-
Yes — if homebirth isn’t your preference or circumstances change, your midwife can continue to support you in a shared care model, offering advocacy and postnatal care even if birth occurs in hospital.
-
The package for full private midwifery care is $7,500. Payment plans are available, and I’m always happy to talk through the value and flexibility of my services.
-
Yes. Medicare rebates apply for eligible antenatal and postnatal visits when provided by an endorsed midwife. The current minimum sits at about $3,000, but it’s always good to make sure you have applied for your individual or family threshold to maximise your returns
-
No, unfortunately private health insurance focuses on doctor and hospital-led care and does not currently provide coverage for midwifery services.
However, I would recommend you have ambulance coverage as a minimum. If there is a need for an urgent transfer to hospital, it’s one less thing to worry about, and another (expensive) bill you don’t have to pay.
-
Not at all! Everyone is welcome at our workshops — from those planning hospital births to homebirths or anything in between. However, if you are under the care of our midwife, we may offer discounted rates or exclusive sessions for our private clients.
-
Yes — your first consultation is completely obligation-free. It’s a chance to get to know each other, ask questions, and decide if I’m the right fit for you and your baby.
-
IteWhether you’re exploring homebirth, looking for continuity of care, or just want to connect with a midwife who truly listens — I’m here.

Holly currently does not run any standalone classes as she’s fully booked with providing midwifery care and being on-call for births. She does include education and baby massage within her midwifery packages.
